Loxone in business: Wimberger Haus

Wimberger Haus counts clear values as the foundation of every house. In addition to reliability, respect and responsibility, another building block is added thanks to Loxone: the passion for automation. Due to the mutual enthusiasm for a Smart Office, Loxone has fully automated the entire office building of the Wimberger Haus company.

What has been implemented?

General

Above all, it was important to the clients that the construction project independently takes care of the basic needs of the employees. Thanks to Loxone, there is now an optimal room climate in the entire office complex and intelligent shading and lighting at the workplaces are guaranteed.

In addition to the automatic shading, heating and cooling as well as the lighting, the fire alarm system and the alarm system were also completely implemented with Loxone. The entire multimedia was also integrated into the system.

Due to the simple implementation, Loxone offers numerous advantages over other systems. The Loxone Air technology enabled a very flexible installation in the Wimberger Haus office building. The room temperature can be measured via a smart socket and the desk lighting, for example, can be controlled at the same time. As a result, two different requirements were met with one product.

Multimedia

In addition to the individual visualization for the employees, the audio server from Loxone is the highlight of the project. On the one hand, this enables simple announcements, such as the alarm system being activated automatically in 15 minutes. On the other hand, the audio server also provides good music at cozy get-togethers in the canteen after work is done. 

According to those responsible, the biggest challenge was the size and complexity of the building. Therefore, a total of three mini servers were installed in the gateway client network with different tasks. But thanks to the Loxone Config, that wasn't an obstacle to smooth installation and flawless automation.
