Despite many challenges, thanks to a strong partner network, loyal customers and great cooperation partners, we were once again able to master the year 2021 very successfully and celebrate many milestones together. We have summarized some of our highlights for you in 2021 below.

January
Apple AirPlay 2 for the audio server The audio server Has been supporting one of the most popular features since January: Apple AirPlay 2. Since then, music from the iPhone, iPad or Mac can be played directly on the various audio players on the audio server.
Loxone App 12.0 and Audioserver 2.5.01.20 The first app update of the year included numerous innovations that improve the user experience. The software update for the audio server ensured even more stability.
5 million video views on YouTube Our YouTube channel regularly offers new, helpful and entertaining content. This is proven, among other things, by the high number of views of our videos. In January we celebrated our 5 millionth video call. In 2021 alone, another 1 million views should be added (as of Dec. '21: 6.1 million).

Loxone Config & App 12 A new automatic designer with an improved UI, numerous new interfaces as well as features and much more - version 12 of the Loxone Config & App had numerous improvements and innovations to offer.
Living in old age at the CuraeVitel Balie Age- appropriate assistance solutions ensure a self-determined life in old age. For this purpose, 2,300 apartments in the Netherlands were equipped with smart Loxone technology - especially for senior citizens.
Nano Motor Controller Air and Tree The Loxone Nano products are characterized by their compact design. The range has been expanded with the new Nano Motor Controllers Air and Tree. Both products offer the option of controlling DC motors and dimming LED lamps.

ÖkoFEN pellet heating systems simply integrated The name ÖkoFEN stands for environmentally friendly pellet heating systems. Thanks to the Modbus device templates, all ÖkoFEN heating systems have been able to be integrated quickly and easily into Loxone's home and building automation systems since March.
Big lighting campaign Attractive volume discounts, informative Loxone Explained Videos, helpful blog posts and much more: The big Loxone lighting campaign has turned our partners into real lighting designers.
Loxone in trade: Intelligent office in the Zurich Circle As formerly the largest building construction site in Switzerland, “The Circle” at Zurich Airport is home to numerous commercial areas on 180,000 m². Including more than 100 workstations of Inventx AG on 3 floors, which have been almost completely automated by our flagship partner Miesch Elektro AG.
Loxone Workwear At the request of numerous partners and customers, we launched the first Loxone clothing line. The high-quality collection of work clothes guarantees a professional appearance. Regardless of whether it is a construction site or a customer appointment!
Loxone goes TikTok TikTok is a global video community for short and entertaining videos. Loxone has also been officially represented on this portal since March. The first video already had an unbelievable 521,600 views!

Loxone in business: One of the most modern egg packing stations in Europe automated with Loxone On more than 3,600 m² of production and office space, a total of five mini servers control many functions of one of the most modern egg packing plants in Europe - from classic building to system technology.
20 years of playback time on YouTube After 5 million video views in January, we reached the next milestone with our YouTube channel in April: Since creation, the playback time of our videos has been more than 175,000 hours - that's an incredible 20 years!

Online Product Event 2021: The new Intercom Thousands of Loxone partners, customers and fans said “hello” to the brand new Loxone Intercom in May. Clear lines, elegant understatement and a timeless design make it probably the most beautiful video intercom in the world. And the new intercom also has a lot to offer technically!
Button Air & Wrist Button Air Also in May, two more new products came onto the market. The Button Air and the Wrist Button Air enable any action to be triggered quickly and easily - such as starting an alarm chain in emergency situations.
Loxone in business: The Levels - Smart Home feeling in the most exclusive residential complex “Living at the highest level” - this is exactly what becomes reality in the form of the most exclusive residential complex in Upper Austria under the name “Das Levels”. In order to meet the high demands on
living comfort, smart home technology from Loxone
was introduced into all 123 premium apartments.

Opening of the Office & Experience Center in Vienna In June the new Loxone Office & Experience Center opened in Vienna's 1st district. Since then, it has been possible to experience how well old buildings and sustainability fit together thanks to Loxone technology. On more than 250 m² there is space in the splendid old building for office and training rooms, an internationalization hub and adventure tours.
Vienna Edition We launched the Vienna Edition to match the new Office & Experience Center in How. The product line for everyone who is not in the mood for understatement. The products of the strictly limited special edition shine in a noble brass look and are a real highlight wherever it can
be a little more luxurious.
Loxone Config & App 12.1 The new Trust function, which enables users, their login data and access authorizations to be shared across different mini-servers, was just one of the numerous innovations in version 12.1 of the Loxone Config & App.

Cooperation with BSH, Vaillant and Varta In order to be able to offer intelligent automation solutions for really every application, we have always relied on cooperation with competent cooperation partners. With BSH , Vaillant and Varta , we were able to announce three new collaborations with exceptionally strong partners in July.
Loxone Campus Website 300 new jobs, 55 million euros investment volume, 8 hectares of space, 2 years of construction - these are the impressive numbers that describe the “Loxone Campus” in a nutshell. He has had his own website since July. There you will find all information about this unique office, hotel, training and logistics center project.

European Green Deal & Smart Home Promotion August was all about energy efficiency. We would like to remind you of a whole series of exciting articles and videos.
With the “ European Green Deal ”, the EU has committed itself to achieving climate neutrality by 2050. As the only holistic system in the world, Loxone can make a significant contribution to increasing the energy efficiency of buildings.
This contribution is rewarded by various smart home grants. In order to keep track of the “ funding jungle”, we have created an overview of the current funding opportunities and grants in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Quadral In-Ceiling 7 Speaker The quadral In-Ceiling 7 Speaker is the first quadral product that was developed 100% for use with the Loxone audio server. The ceiling loudspeaker impresses with its extraordinarily even and wide radiation behavior, which ensures an excellent sound image.

Loxone Library & Config & App 12.2 Loxone is an open system. This openness is documented in the Loxone Library. Since October all templates and plugins for the simple and fast integration of various third-party products have been available there in just one place.
Loxone in business: Sallycon Valley Saliha “Sally” Özcan is Germany's most successful YouTuber on the subject of cooking and baking. The next big milestone for the successful entrepreneur is the construction of the Sallycon Valley. The miniserver takes on numerous tasks of modern building automation in
the approximately 1,500 m² innovation center.
Cooperation with Miele After we were able to announce the cooperation with BSH, Vaillant and Varta in July, another important cooperation partner followed in October: Miele. Since then, Miele @ home devices can be quickly and easily integrated into Loxone's home and building automation systems.
14,000 subscribers on YouTube & 20,000 followers on Instagram The hard - and exciting - work of our video crew became measurable again in October. Since then, more than 14,000 subscribers have followed our YouTube channel. There you will regularly receive exciting videos about the world of Loxone.
We are also very successfully represented on other social media channels. So we could look forward to our 20,000th follower on Instagram .

Trainee day: The automation & electrical engineering day at Loxone At the beginning of November, the 1st trainee day in Loxone history took place. More than 30 trainees from automation or electrical engineering discovered the exciting world of building automation in our branch in Wäschenbeuren. In addition, they sometimes took hours to travel and
returned home enthusiastic about automation.

Seamless Certas connection of your Loxone project In December we were able to announce the last cooperation partner for the time being: Certas is the leading Swiss specialist for security and professional alarm management. With the new template, every
Loxone installation can be seamlessly integrated into
Certas alarm management.
80+ quadral products now available at Loxone The loudspeaker specialist quadral has been part of the Loxone Group since 2020. Since then, Loxone partners have benefited from attractive partner discounts on the entire quadral range, which can now be obtained directly from Loxone - since sales
and logistics have been carried out directly via
Loxone since December.
