Located at a prime location right at the corner of Nguyen Hue Walking Street, Rex Hotel is one of the most long-standing and prestigious 5-star hotels in Ho Chi Minh City. Affiliated with Saigontourist Group, Rex is not only a destination for international tourists but also a venue for high-level conferences, diplomatic events, and activities of domestic and international leaders. With a history of over 90 years of formation and development, Rex Hotel bears the imprint of Indochine architecture blended with modernity, considered a vivid symbol of the intersection between heritage and class.

Project Requirements:

Rex Hotel - A large-scale hotel with 5 main floors, 1 rooftop, and 286 rooms, totaling an area of up to 14,000 m².

Operation is not merely about room management and customer service; the investor requires strict control of every internal link: technical, maintenance, electrical system operation, security, and assets. The challenge posed is not just "upgrading the system," but rebuilding the entire structure of control – authorization – operational monitoring, aiming for a proactive, transparent, and fast-response security system:

Access control system: Clear authorization for each specific subject and area.
Synchronized key management: Centralized process, clear reporting, and traceability.
Enhanced surveillance: Ensuring 24/7 security and instant alerts.
Integrated smart controller: Easy to integrate and expand.

With a history of over 90 years, Rex Hotel is not just a hotel but a part of the city's culture. Owning hundreds of rooms, many technical areas, special floors, and a large staff, Rex needs an international-standard key management system to completely replace manual methods, which are prone to errors and lack transparent control.

User Authorization: Via PIN code, card, or fingerprint integration for access control.

Loxone Smart Lighting System

The next layer in the system is the interior space: lobby, corridors, meeting rooms, and public service areas. The Loxone smart lighting control solution was deployed to automate the lighting experience according to schedules and contexts – while optimizing energy consumption:

Loxone Miniserver Control Center: Receives signals from sensors and switches, programming lighting scenes for each area, acting as the "central brain" of control.

Manage lighting schedules by time of day.
Combine with motion sensors to automatically turn lights on/off in corridors, warehouses, and low-traffic areas.
Synchronize control with security alerts: when an intrusion alarm occurs, the lighting system can automatically flash to warn.

Touch Pure Flex: Bezel-less monolithic tempered glass design, installed in premium hotel rooms and executive areas, allowing users to:

Select lighting scenes: relaxation, reading, night sleep, etc.
Dim/brighten as needed with just a light touch.
Personalized touch interface with icons and functions suitable for each area (e.g., lobby, meeting room, etc.).

Easily expand more control channels without changing the central electrical system

AO Extension: Suitable for areas requiring fine-tuned lighting details (such as spas, conference rooms, fine-dining rooms), allowing:

Linear brightness control by percentage, flicker-free.
Creating a comfortable feeling, avoiding eye strain in long-stay environments.
Integrated control of RGB or color-changing LED strip systems for special spaces like lounge bars, rooftops, etc.

The Loxone smart home solution not only creates a vivid and modern living experience for guests but also helps management significantly reduce operating costs and optimize energy.

Access Control System

To complete the operational control structure at Rex Hotel, Eurostellar deployed a smart turnstile access control system for technical areas, internal zones, and management offices – ensuring user flow separation and authentication takes place professionally, accurately, and absolutely transparently.

System composition includes:

Access Control Reader: With accurate Face ID scanning capability even in low light conditions or when users wear masks. Response latency under 0.3 seconds ensures fast flow speed.
Biometric Fingerprint Sensor: For internal personnel, ensuring access rights for the right person – right area.

RFID Card Reader: Compatible with staff cards, guest cards, or day passes – suitable for various user groups.
