VietinBank and the Security Challenge at Banking Transaction Points

VietinBank is one of Vietnam’s largest and longest-established commercial banks, playing a key role in the national financial system. With an extensive branch network and high daily customer traffic, its transaction points require a security system that operates reliably and ensures strict risk control. In addition to financial activities, bank branches store valuable assets, documents, and sensitive data. Therefore, implementing an alarm system capable of early detection of unusual activities and timely alerts is essential to safeguard the entire operational environment.

When a bank needs more than just an alarm system

For financial institutions, security is more than intrusion detection. An effective solution must ensure early detection of unusual activities, high accuracy with minimal false alarms, centralized and easy management, flexible zoning, and long-term operational stability.

To meet these requirements, Eurostellar deployed a comprehensive security ecosystem from JABLOTRON – one of Europe’s leading alarm system manufacturers.

Security System Deployment at VietinBank Branch

After conducting an on-site survey and evaluating key security control points, the technical team developed a deployment plan tailored to the specific characteristics of the VietinBank branch.

Devices were strategically installed at critical locations such as entrances, transaction areas, corridors, and restricted zones to enhance intrusion detection outside working hours. The system is configured to ensure stable operation and high accuracy in detecting unusual movements.

In this project, the system includes the following key components:

Jablotron Control Panel

  • Control Panel: Receives and processes all signals from system sensors. When unusual activity is detected, it triggers alarms and sends alerts to responsible personnel for timely response.

  • Keypad: Installed at main control points within the branch. Authorized staff can arm or disarm the system using secure PIN codes. It also supports zoning, enabling strict yet flexible security management.

  • PIR Motion Sensor: Placed in areas requiring continuous monitoring. Infrared technology accurately detects unusual movements and immediately triggers alerts upon unauthorized intrusion.

  • Panic Button: Strategically installed in sensitive areas such as transaction counters, vault rooms, and stairways, allowing staff or customers to trigger an immediate alert in emergency situations.

  • Siren: Instantly activated when the system detects an incident. The loud alarm not only alerts the security team but also acts as a strong deterrent against potential intruders.
